Mountains To Cimb

Wow this week was a huge roller coaster!

We haven't been having very good numbers lately and we were walking down the street and found Hno Hubert (The man we baptized when Hna Torres was still here) completely wasted. He was very respectful with us and I was very grateful for that but it still scared me. I have never been in a situation like that! (besides when I got kissed by a drunk guy that one time :P) He kept telling us that his life has been destroyed. We decided to take him to Hno Lopez`s house and then we went to get him food because we had a feeling that he hadn't eaten lunch. When we walked away, I couldn't hold back the tears. Hno Hubert is completely alone here. His girlfriend completely separated herself from him and he has no communication with his kids. We are his only family here and we can't see him every day. We fasted for him yesterday and we are praying everyday that he gets back to the good ole Hubert he was right before and after his baptism. He is such an amazing man and could bring such great blessings to the ward here. All we can do is pray and work with him to get him back to the path.

Other than that I'm doing alright here. We found another golden family last night and I know that in the near future they will all be baptized hehe.

I hope everything is going fantasticly at home! I miss you all like none other but I know that here is where I'm supposed to be right now. Ugh I have so much to tell but no time to tell it. I will try to write as much as I can in letters and in my journal to share with you all!
I love you all soooo much and I hope that you all have an amazing week!

Another slow week

Hey Family and Friends!!!!

This week was another slow week for us but I do have some stories to tell you all!

So we have been super happy about a family that we just reactivated and then yesterday we passed by their house and they had friends over and they were drinking. We don't know if the parents of this family were drinking or just their friends but it makes us really worried. We are going to go over there today and try to lift them up spiritually a little bit. I hope they keep going on the right track!

Also we have a new investigator who we are working with really hard. Her name is Cleo and she has a grandson who is a member. We are also working with her granddaughter and she always goes to church with us! Cleo is Catholic and she doesn't understand the difference between her baptism and baptism in our church. She knows that we are here to invite her to come unto Christ and to be baptized but she just won't take that step to say yes yet. We also have an appointement with her tonight and we have some videos we will show her to hopefully get her thinking more towards being baptized!

Sorry again, I don't have time to send pics but when I do have time I will be sure to send them!
I hope you all have an amazing week and remember that you have a Heavenly Father who loves you and wants to hear from you always! I love you all so much!

I'm doing pretty good here. Same things every day it seems like. We will be changing rooms this week so I will send pics of the pretty new room next week! I'm super excited! No more eating dirt every day!!!!!!

I dont have much to tell this week. It all was pretty slow. Not many goals were met this week so we are kinda bummed. We will definitely work harder this next week!!!! I will have so much more to tell next monday!!!!! I love you all so very much!!!!! Until next Monday!!!!!

Tender Mercies

Hola familia y amigos!
So I got all of my pics that I lost back so I will send them next week!
How is everyone!? I have been praying for Kaitlyn like crazy! I keep thinking back to when I was in pain 24/7 and wishing I could go back in time and I wish now that I could be there to help her! Be there to cry with her and laugh at her too haha ;P I'll continue to pray for her and everyone else too lol ;P
This week I had a lot of ups! We found a new family who really wants to learn! They are a really young family with three little boys all under the age of 7! Two of them are twins. They are little devils! We have to go to their little house when the kids are napping or the Spirit can't be felt by anyone! The Hermana is Catholic and was baptized as a baby. She had a dream the other night and it kind of made her think twice about us. She dreamed that two really black, scary dogs were chasing her trying to kill her and another dog (light brown) came in and killed them both saving her. She took that as God telling her that she shouldn't change her religion. She thought that the two black dogs represented Hermana Meneses and I. We explained to her that God doesn't want to scare us to answer our prayers. He only answers in simple, beautiful ways. Things like her dream are not from God. The enemy is always trying to confuse us. I think that helped. We have a long path ahead of us with them because they aren't married yet. The people here think of marriage as a bad thing. Like if they get married, they will be unhappy. Like a trap. Yeah we are really needed here!
Then the other day,  we were in one of the little corner stores, that are everywhere, here and a little girl looked at me and whispered to her dad "mira Barbie!" She called me Barbie! That made me feel super good! It's little things like that that keep me going! Also, the family that we just reactivated out of the blue invited us to their family home evening ! They are doing so good! I have been seeing so many more miracles and tender mercies this past week. It's still so dang hard but I'm chugging along. I'll get there! Keep praying for me! Lord knows I need it haha ;P
Well that's all for this week! I hope you all have an amazing week! Have faith and remember that you are a child of God! I love you all sooooo much!!!!!!
Hasta la siguiente lunes!   Hermana Favero
