Mission President Blessings

Familia!

Gosh I don't even know where to begin. This week was a lot better!

Last week when I was emailing you back and forth, I was really having a hard time. I really didn't believe I belonged here at this time. I still feel like I should have prepared a little better spiritually and emotionally before I came, like maybe go to school and become a little more independant, but I'm here and it's really weighing on me hard. It scares me sometimes because a lot of the time, I don't feel the Spirit in the lessons like I should and when something really happy happens, I don't feel the happiness like I know I should. Last week all of this just blew up inside of me. I decided to come home. I thought it was the right thing for me to do. I was going to do it and I was okay with it. The choice was made. Then, we had interviews with the mission president and his wife. First, I talked to Sister Williams and she was somewhat on my page about it all. She just told me to talk to the pres about it because he has the keys to handle things like that. When I finally got in with Pres Williams, I just spilled everything. I told him about my thoughts before my mission, my thoughts through out these past few months and that I felt like it was best for me to just go home. He just sat and listened to me, when I was done, he layed it all on me. He was so prophetic and hard with his words. He told me that I just have to walk this alone and I just have to figure it out on my own. He told me that he has been going through the exact same things I have and that he had been praying for this moment we were having. We talked for a long time, crying and sharing thoughts together and I felt so spiritually uplifted its insane. I am seriously so blessed to have him as my mission president!

Mommy thank you so much for being there for me! I dont know what I would do without email!!!! You still help me so much even though we are thousands of miles away from each other!

Now for this week!

We finally had another baptism! Anthony is 9 years old and his family was inactive. We rescued his parents and baptized him! The day of his baptism, he got super sick and was way late to the ceremony. When he finally got there, he went in to change and puked a ton more! We felt soooo bad because he was sooooo excited about this day! He told his grandma that he wants to be a missionary some day and that he is so ready to be baptized. When we finally got him into the font and baptized, he was smiling from ear to ear!

Also, I went on splits with our sister leader this week. I went to her area, which is so much prettier than ours is haha, and I got to talk in English the whole day! That was such a blessing!

I just want to thank you all so much for all of your prayers and support! I love you all soooo much!!! I will email again next week about all of the pics and emails.

Les amo!!!!!!!

Trials Bring Blessings

Familia!

I absolutely loved hearing about your 4th! It was really tough to hear about how hard it was for mommy but I'm glad that everything went well! I hope that Kaitlyn and daddy are better! I hate not being there to help!

I am sooooo proud of Kendra!!! I don't even have to be home watching her to bawl! Your pics did the trick! Kagun is a stud! He's gonna be a track/XC star in high school!!

I'm so happy to hear about Landon! I love that kid!

This week has been alright. We have good days and we have really blah days. Hermana Meneses drives me crazy sometimes. She is super peppy and she has a lot of ideas and she has her ways and doesn't like to drop them lol. This is definitely a hard one for me!

Today though we had an awesome pday! We went to the area of Hermana Waite and it was super green!!!!! I have missed the color green soooo much! We went to a super old big church and took lots of pictures. then we went to a river with a way sketchy bridge over it. It was such a great get away! I have tons of pics to send to you all but when I tried to get them onto the computer to send them they all were lost! I don't know how to get them back. I'm really struggling haha I'll try to get them to you all next week! Help me pray I can find them.

I love you all soooooo very much! You have no idea how much closer I feel to all of you since I've been out here! I don't ever want to leave when I get home! I'll just live at home for the rest of my life haha. No but honestly, I love you all from the bottom of my heart and I hope and pray every day that you feel my love and that you are happy. That's all I want. For my family and friends to be happy and healthy and safe.

I'm off for this week but I'll talk to ya next Lunes! Love you all

Con mucho amor, Hermana Favero

ER and Pizza Hut!!

Emergency room... Well...I got sick again! It really wasn't as bad as it looks. The night before this pic, I couldn't sleep. I was up until like 4 puking 5 times! The morning after I was so tired, I couldn't keep my eyes open at breakfast. So we went back to our room and I slept. While I was sleeping, Hermana Meneses called Hermana Norton, our sister leader, and told her what was wrong. She got a hold of our zone leaders, they got a hold of the assistants and I had to go to the clinic/emergency room. There, I had to give samples of blood and poo (sorry it's gross :P) and then I got an IV for my medicine. All of my tests came back normal and the rest of the day I was fine. It's crazy how much more people fuss over you here in the mission. If I was sick like that at home, I would just wait it out! :P

Pizza Hut... This week we had the chance to meet our new president! He and his wife are sooo cool! We got to hear all about their family (in Spanish) and I understood every word! It really helps to hear the words come from a North American who only knows a little more than I do! Hermana Williams (the President's wife) doesn't know any! Only like De donde es and a few words here and there. I can't wait to be able to work with them more! Super fun, cool people! At the end of our meeting, we got pizza hut! I was extremely happy!!!

My package!!!!!! I finally got my package! Actually, it got here to Chiclayo in June but the mission office didn't let me know. From now on, I'm just gonna have to call and ask. I'm soooooo grateful to you all!!!! I really needed that boost and all of this stuff will help me soooo much! Mommy, I'm working on your letter. It might take me a while cuz I really don't have much time to write but I'll get it to you! I promise!!!

Happy Fourth of July!!!!!

PDAY!! Here was my lunch today! We got really yummy ice cream after!

And here is one of the many little spots that people set up in the side streets in the center of Chiclayo. Everything is hand made and super stinkin cool! I got Kagun and Daddy some stuff for their birthdays . I'll be sending them out in the next couple of weeks.

I hope everytning is amazing at home and I hope you all know that I love you soooooo much! Have an awesome week!!!

Les Amo Mucho!!!!!
